Worst launch in the series.
Broken campaign
- constant crashes
- NPC's freeze blocking progression (reloaded checkpoints multiple times)
- enemies don't spawn correctly blocking progression (reloaded checkpoints multiple times)
- objective button prompts require extremely precise positioning to register, when these are time based they become extremely frustrating to repeat just to fail at the end of a fight with a single button.
- moving in and out of cover is as bad as it was in no.1, something seriously went wrong here if it's this sluggish and unresponsive.
- infinite saving logo allows you to continue playing but does not save anything. Started saving for me, while the logo was still on collected 3 relic weapons then hit a checkpoint and it reverted my load out to what it was before the saving started. Went back to get relics they are all gone.
- collectables and components, they state this is fixed but it isn't. Still loosing stuff.
- in some areas reloading the checkpoint reloads you off the map in walls and floors you cannot get out of. (Makes it impossible to get a fully upgraded jack if you try to load from a chapter to fix this error)
In all this will have the same life as Anthem, lose all its players by the time it is actually a full playable game. This game was nowhere near ready to release.
Multiplayer
- if it works it's great, which it doesn't 90% of the time.
Escape
- has a great release trailer that was a complete exaggeration of what it actually plays like. 100% fail. IF and ONLY IF you can get in a game, this requires complete teamwork, one single mistake and it is over. Someone takes all the ammo, someone goes rogue, someone uses you as bait just to take the hits get downed steal all the weapons and ammo the revives to rinse and repeat. This mode is a failure that desperately needs fixing.
Horde
- all hero's are monumently disappointing. Actives and passives are only effective and useful if you meet the niche specifics required to make them playable.
- Ammo drought, half the hero passives are related to ammo. Which means you are required to perform these specifics consistently to be able to have a supply of ammo. (Thought this mode was accessable to all players, looks like it isn't anymore. need to be hitting those headshots every kill if you want to get anywhere.)
80% of the enemies in a wave can't be killed with a headshot so even less ammo available.
I thought I was playing horde sounds more like Escape v2.
