Chris Mitchell

Kath & Kim did a wonderful job of parodying the vapidity of modern middle class life & its meaningless acquisition of tacky material objects as an antidote to existential dread. I love how the show never dips into sentimental feel goodness like PC satires tend to do these days. Instead Kath & Kim remain churlish towards on another and shallow in their inner worlds. Their lack of self-awareness condemns them to never being able to resolve their misery. Not unlike the modern world.
