Like others have said, S-L-O-W pacing! Sometimes painfully so. But I got payoff in the end. There was a bit of soothing resolution to tie things up. There is even a Marvel-esque post-credit scene that asks a NEW question, even as the entire 1st season has resolved. This series is not for everyone, but having been a government contractor, I can say the slimy feeling you get from the contract company leadership in this series is spot on to real life!
In another review, someone questioned the change in screen size. I believe they represent the times Julia Robert's character was "woke" and not under influence. Which is why it goes to widescreen when she remembers everything at the new Homecoming facility. Hope that's not too much of a spoiler.
