As a person who never watched the original movie, I have to say that the movie wasn’t good at all. I watched it with my family (because it said family movie) and the kids got really scared and ended up not watching the movie. It definitely dragged on a lot like I thought the scenes were never going to end. Anne is a really great actor but her role and accent in the movie just wasn’t good at all. The movie is basically way too scary for children and way too dull for adults and teenagers. I can see that they really tried to make the movie flashy and different, but it was just horrible. I hope this helps some people, because I just recommend not watching the movie.

The movie wasn’t as good as my family thought it was going to be. We’re a family of 6 and the two younger ones stopped watching after a while because it became boring and repetitive. There was some great comedy, especially with Keegan but the movie ended up dragging on a lot and it just wasn’t a very good movie. Really a let down honestly.
