Here's the thing. I adore Anne Hathaway and have been a fan since the princess diaries. Her acting in this film was great. Nuanced and sexy. And Thomasin is reminiscent of a young Jodie Foster. The beginning was a bit slow and boring but the tension builds beautifully between Rebecca and Eileen. And I loved the plot twist. I didn't see that coming at all. But the ending left so many questions unanswered and I hated that. They could've added another 30 to 40 minutes to this movie and really made it great. It was just disappointing in the end.

This movie was so boring and predictable. There was no depth. No back story. No way to care about these characters before watching this snore fest. Every choice Iris made made me roll my eyes. It wasn't worth the time to watch it. Thank goodness I was multitasking when I watched it. The acters were great I'll give them their credit. But I'd recommend watching Don't Breathe over this one if you're looking for a good edge of your seat thriller. Way better.

This movie was great. The only reason i docked a star is because it was a bit slow in the first half of the film. Shailenes performance was excellent as per usual. I'll watch anything she acts in. I was on the edge of my seat for a good portion of this film. I loved the complexities of the shooter once we finally met him in the film. I was able to sympathize with him to a certain level while also understanding what a twisted person he is. Every casting was perfect in my opinion. And I liked how they wrapped everything up in the end. I'd love a series following Elanor and what happens after the film.

The entirety of my 4 stars is for Emma's performance. Aside from her I'd have given this movie a 1 star review. Over all visually this film is stunning. I'll give it that too. But I could not get out of my mind the fact that Bella is a CHILD in an adults body having so many sexual encounters with grown men. And then going on to become a sex worker. It felt so wrong that I couldn't get past it most of the time. The sexualization of someone with the mentality of a 5 year old is just flat out not okay. Wether shes in an adult body or not. Its giving pedophilia. Especially by multiple grown men who KNOW shes childlike. I was also very uncomfortable with the scene that had two minors in a sex scene between two adults. Im sure the shots between the boys and the adults were shot at different times but i still didnt like it. But if you set all that entirely aside the movie was beautifully made. The performances were great. And Emma as previously stated did an incredible job with the character. She deserved the Oscar she got.

I swear to God this movie is a comedy which is the only reason I gave it 3 stars. It's hilarious the amount of things that go wrong in this movie. (Spoilers ahead) first of all I barely had any time to get attached to any of these characters enough to care about them. 2nd of all I swear the writers of this movie sat around a table and said "everything needs to happen in this movie... everything." So many parts are just so unbelievable. Her hanging on the very top of the tower for over an hour just to charge the drone, her killing and eating a vulture raw, and shoving a shoe with a phone inside it inside her friends body??? Literally everyone knows you don't need signal to call 911. So it really made these characters just seem stupid. Was it fun to watch? Yes. Was I able to take it seriously at all? No lol

I loved Amanda in this movie and was really sucked into it up until the husband started to go dark. I had such high hopes for the ending but it just plain sucked. The ghost scenes were not well edited and nothing scary ever actually happens. Also who the heck is watching their 4 year old in half this movie like....?? And why was there a need for Amanda's character to have an eating disorder. It was brought up over and over and added nothing to the story line so what was the point?? Just to have a reason for her husband to drug her? They could have done that so many easier ways. I'm very disappointed.

This movie was a complete and total waste of my time. It made no sense, there was no backstory, and they all die in the end. And how do you expect a viewer to watch the moms fingers get broken one at a time and there be no conclusion or back story? That's up close and personal as if there was some type of previous beef the killer had with the mom and son. Why are they being stalked? Who is this guy? What's his motive?? You get no end resolution. There's no closure and it's not worth watching. You get no answers in the end.
