I love how they turned it into a drama that picks up from today's world and culture. You get to view both rich people problems as well as Middle class people problems. In both worlds it's all about the decisions you make to help you survive.

This movie shows all perspectives when dealing with race and the police. It definitely sparks a healthy debate on the lack of police training and inconsistencies in police protocols as well as how people of color are perceived from the police perspective.

I did not hear about this show until it was on Netflix. I am a Marvel fan so I thought this was going to be cheesy but it is a really great show! All of the actors truly bring the characters to life. I watched all 3 seasons in a few days with each season having about 16 episodes.
