It’s cool to see some traditional mythology but it’s just insane to see such incredible amount of production resources and money used in such a poor story. Maybe I’m missing important metaphors but it just gave me the impression of a crowded display of resources to craft very spectacular frames, but I couldn’t find rich content in the story. It left me craving some poetry, some meaning, some ethical lessons... pure production, no much art unfortunately. Maybe I missed the meaning as it comes from a radically different culture, but that was my impression.
