The movie brings the memorable real-life characters to life. I like the structure of the movie as a series of flashbacks, works nicely. Close did an amazing job bringing Mamaw to life. Since I have read the book twice, I knew the back story and cannot judge if the movie had any choppy plot moments. I enjoyed it.
