While working on my MA thesis, this book was fundamental in understanding the mentality of Laughlin, as well as the early involvement of prominent individuals in the American Eugenics Movement. Easy and digestible language, as well as clear connections to relevant areas on the subject. Well done Samaan, this is not only one of my favorite pieces but also an insightful examination into our forgotten history regarding eugenics.
