Actually I would give it a 3.9 to 4.5! It wasn't an award winner but quite entertaining and endearing. Then again, who know what will happen? Let's chsbge the tide for "Cats". Tell them it was purr-fection. Those looking at it from the broadway performance viewpoint are doing it an injustice. Judge the show on its own merits. Do not compare it to Broadway. The major stars, Royal ballet singer/dancers and known singers were fabulous! James C, JHUD, "Victoria", Judy Dench ,Derulo etc were fabulous! Some other lesser characters get a grade C. But I personally liked the show a lot! To me, it was a truly magical, elegant perfomance. Watch and judge for yourself! Raise your paws for this movie. For me, it was a definite "tails up!." The Rotten Tomatoes rating was misleading, unfair, untrue and shameful and lived up to the name...rotten. SO, pay no attention to them! I lost a lot of respect for Rotten Tomatoes so-called "experts"after watching the movie. I give RT a minus 5 stars. The song "Memory* was emotional, inspiring and memorable!! JHUD truly sang her heart out and shared the song's deeper meaning! I actually choked up! Mistopholes and Victoria chatacters were just so magical and powerful. Gave me goose bumps James Cordon was cute as a kitten! He is a wonderful actor and has a really great voice! Smile James.we love you! YOU are a gifted, talented man. Some so called theater experts need to be fired immediately (Amazon is hiring stockers guys) and replaced with real people! Again, CATS, loved it! I am just a viewer so what do I know? I will tell you what I know... I know what I like! Y'all, while you are quarantined at home, get the movie and decide for yourself what you think and let us know your thoughts on the CATS movie.
