If you're a kid of the 70's, you will enjoy the first and 2nd Bad News Bears movies, but I wouldn't even bother watching this one. It IS dreadfully boring, some of the players you've come to know and love like the blonde character 'Tanner' aren't even in this movie, and as most people don't speak Japanese, you naturally won't know what these people are even talking about! There are no subtitles to translate what they're saying (or singing), so you cannot follow the storyline.
And it's plotline is not easy to follow and is jumbled- from Japanese wrestlers, to a couple singing the Happy Days theme song in another storyline, I was like, 'What the Hell?!' and that's when I chose to stop the movie and deleted it off the Playstation (my spouse had downloaded the movie for me and put it on a memory stick). This movie isn't even really about the kids playing baseball!
It is one mess of a movie. And it just SUCKS.
