Its a mystery show that is exceedingly funny as well as solving a murder. The DCI is very smart, likes to use methods learned in 'the Met' and tends to upset people because of a lack of local knowledge. The DS hss been sidelined at a desk job for too many years and the brass want him to retire. Between them they solve the crime and keep their jobs fo another day. I like the first episode next one is tomorrow John
