I LOVE your show, color splash!!! I want to have my house fixed up, I have not been able to do it myself. My now ex husband, never would put money into it, and bitched when I had the professionals fix plumbing, or replacing the broken water heater. He worked in the last lumber co.here in Humboldt County. He retired, and wanted to be left alone with his 401 k and after living in our house for 19 yrs. with him, I felt entitled to only pay it off, not buy him out. I went and got the loan, the house balance was 63 grand- ish , I got a loan of 85 grand. I paid a student, co- worker, at that time, to build 2 porches, and a tiny garden shed, and other small jobs, like cleaning the roof off, gutters, ect. Then I had a fall, a nurse practitioner gave me the opposite type of blood pressure medicine, and I fell down my new stairs. I just kept working , long story short, then hit my head again at work, kept going, until I could not count, make focus my eyes, and started saying crazy stuff, and matching behavior. I had a bleed in my head, TBI injury. It went down hill for 2 yrs, 3 and I am finally myself, or not. I am healthy, but I am damaged, but I can still do some work at home. My IHSS worker , now house mate, because I lost my family, but at least I have a chance to continue rebuilding my relationships with my 3 grown children. Opps!!! Still to long of a text.
