This show is so gripping and the reality of it is so sad and disturbing. The portrayal of a young black man in the environment that no child should endure is disheartening. The tone in which a child should grow up is stuck in our heads and not in the reality of what is actually happening in so many communities across the world. We turn a blind eye to what we don't want to see or acknowledge, therefore it doesn't exist. This show is epic in performance, reality and emotion.
