I thought after the slightly dissapointing ending of season 2 things were looking to go downhill with this show. Season 3 has however gone on to be one of the greatest seasons of a TV show. The realism they portray, particularly with their social commentary, constantly makes you think that you're really in this brutal yet interesting world the writers have created. Fantastic show and would highly recommend, even for non fans of that superhero genre.

Do I even need to say anything?

An amazing show for those who are a fan of the Witcher series. For those who aren't, then you will be, or at least be interested enough to want to find out more about the universe. Think of this show as separate from GoT. While it shares the fantasy and some political elements, it is a standalone show that never wants to be GoT. Also, while it may change some elements of the book, it must be stressed that this is simply an 'adaptation' and as an adaptation, it really does stick quite close to the lore. The fight scenes are amazing and the show never shies away from showing the graphic side of the universe it operates in which really adds to the dark, gothic feel of the show. The characters as well have a lot of depth to them which is a surprise to someone who started off as a skeptic. With only 8 episodes it's definitely worth a watch. The first episode starts of quite slow but by the third episode, you'll have a great feel for it.
