The acting is pretty good and there are some excellent scenes though season 1 and 2 (so far) but with how they treat the characters, it would've been better without Master Chief (or as many have been calling him, Master Cheeks).

The acting wasn't the worst but there were many inconsistencies that were played off as possible when they were not throughout the movie and was very boring. Definitely not worth paying for at any amount.

I usually find the type of humor provided in this game to be very hot and miss but I'm about halfway through the game right now and am thoroughly the game for both it's humor and gameplay.
