Terrible. Had just tuned into this after being thoroughly entertained by Schitt's creek and Afterlife and must say it left a bad taste in my mouth. Quite overrated and I left it after first episode.

This movie has the got most potential to ruin your mood and leave a bad taste in the mouth. Don't go by the "experts" who say it is an underrated price of art. Avoid it at all costs. I'd give it a negative star rating if I could.👎👎

It's a snooze fest. There's a scene in the movie where Audrey Tautou comments on Princess Diana's death being flashed as news-"would you have cared about her, had she not been so beautiful?"...lol, bit rich coming out from a movie whose sole selling point is Audrey's cuteness. I give it a one star rating for helping me brush up my french language skills. Otherwise it's two hours of your precious life wasted.

Came here after being enthralled by the masterpieces-GoT and Spartacus. And I must say it's been a total waste of time. I crawled with the first few episodes after reading reviews about the charisma of the show's main protagonist (really?) Ragnar lothbrok. Now the bar had been set pretty high by Spartacus, Daenerys, and the like as far as strong characters are concerned. Unexpectedly, Ragnar doesn't come close to joining my list of inspirational characters and I am disappointed. I guess that's the reason why this show is called 'underrated' and that's because it's awfully boring and fetishes mocking Christianity (I am a Hindu btw) for no reason. One bright light in the show and I suspect she becomes somewhat of a cult personality for its fans is lagertha. Otherwise no couldn't bother completing the first season after finishing the eight episode. It's downright uninspiring and should be not be given so many 'likes' in Google reviews. A big thumbs down from me.

Though the show had a promising start, it's goes down hill after the wedding episode. Poor choice of protagonist and a mediocre star caste though Sam heughan shines in parts add to the snooze show. There's a genuine reason why this show is highly rated. It's because it's lapped up by women around the world who can't get enough of the innumerable and unnecessary love scenes between Claire and Jamie fraser. If you are looking for strong characters in the mould of say a Tommy Shelby/James Delaney/Daenerys targaryan or the impressive star caste of game of thrones, then this show is definitely not worth your time.
