S Stalker

Absolutely loved this. Filmed beautifully and was a visual feast for the eyes. Also fantastic portrayal of Tom Ripley. The black and white, especially the lighting made this and the opulent, stunning scenery in Rome and Venice, the beautiful Italian language, need I go on. Very Hitchcock, dark portrayal. Only issue, for me, was the casting of other main characters especially Freddie Miles, although also felt Dickie lacked any charisma. However still a thoroughly enjoyable and worthwhile watch. Liked the 1999 film which was also very entertaining and Dickie and Marge more relatable but this was a more edgy and visually satisfying watch. Give it a go.
