I don't know how I missed this movie in 1999. It far surpassed a totality of writing, directing and acting in any one film seen in 2021. The transition between character scenes was as smooth as butter. I loved the movie. Thinking about seeing this one again in the near future. I very rarely see any movie more than once. Great message about chance and the past. I am a great believer that who ever crosses your path, is there for a reason. Be compassionate.
