Whaat? I saw it when I was 10 years old-- the year it came out. Of course, as a child, I only focused on the pretty lady, the children and the horror of the bird attacks. Nightmares for two years after. Last night I watched the movie again, nearly 58 years later, and I'm dumbfounded. Whaat??? Googling for answers and interpretations just makes it worse. ... But, hey! No Nightmares!!! so far.

Whaa? Did I watch it too many years later? Like, 2021? It's a David Lynch movie--I should have noted that before I started. OK. I'll just write it off and get to sleep.

So.. a gambler and the addiction. Fascinating, like a roller coaster that will make you nearly sick with anxiety. Howard Ratner takes it to the limit as he is cheating his "friends," adversaries, lover and family. Gambling and risk taking/cheating is a sensational rush, but I think Adam Sandler won me over as a real Jewish con man that did his best to win.

Wow! From 1970's to now?? Wow! I'm sharing.
