Brilliant script, direction and acting.

It took a bit of time to get used to Nicola Walker's character - a sort of combination of the characters she played in Last Tango in Halifax and the Unforgotten but on the whole I enjoyed the series. A well-written script, humorous dialogue and a good cast of actors. All the main actors perform very well as did the minor actors. i would definitely watch season 2.

This is not a show for Muslims who are not simply cultural Muslims but who take Islam as a guide to living but who nevertheless don’t mind chilling at times in front of the tv. The premise of the series seems to be don’t discriminate against Muslims as we’re just as immoral and foul mouthed and obsessed with sex as everyone else is, i.e. an appeal to unity by pointing to the lowest common denominator. Thank God there’s some good Turkish series for watching. I gave it a one star rating because if I don’t rate it I can’t post. If I had the choice I’d rate it no stars.
