4.5/10 ive always played more multiplayer than single player in previous cods. i haven’t given the campaign a try yet but i’ve played tons of multiplayer so far. if you like to run and gun with an smg, rush everything and you like small maps like nuke town then this game is definitely not for you. the map sizes on this game are ridiculous. it is absolutely awful. they are trying to hard to become battle field with the insanely large map size. i want classic cod maps not pubg or fortnite maps. since the maps are so massive, everyone tends to camp in head glitches, crouch walk and mount behind objects the whole game. my running and gunning doesnt stand a chance against a team of 6 lmg nerds sitting in the back of the map. i can’t even play any game mode other than gunfight (2v2 on super small maps) or ill rage and throw my controller down. the maps also cause the game to be very slow paced. i’ll hop on 6v6 domination and i’ll get as much action as a 1v1 on turbine from bo2 with no radar. there also is no skill gap so you’re constantly playing people that are at your level. the game has so much potential in my opinion, the guns seem to be balanced, there’s a lot of customization, and there’s a lot of fun game modes. i’d probably rate this game a 9/10 if it had the bo3 or bo2 maps. or even any cod maps before bo3 for that matter. Activision, treyarch, sledgehammer and whoever else needs to get their stuff together because every online player is losing interest in the game. it’s been 4 years and there hasn’t even been a decent call of duty. stop changing things up. give us black ops 2 or mw2 again just with better graphics, different maps (as long as they’re reasonably sized and have 3 lanes) and different guns.
