I don't hear anything about the thousands of people losing there jobs come October 1st in the airline industry. No interviews with the house and senate. Everything is about replacing the chief justice and the fighting between the two parties. I've never seen a more disfunction government. So much fighting and the people they are supposed to represent are forgotten and nothing is getting done. Aloha

Glad to hear other people are having the same problem reaching unemployment. It took five weeks before I received my first payment and then after receiving eight weeks of payments my account now is in pending status since my certification of May 30th. I have been trying to call unemployment everyday can’t get threw. I’ve emailed and gone to the Kona office on June 26th and was able to leave a message. Unfortunately I’ve still not heard from anyone in unemployment. I check my account every morning and it still says my four weeks of certifications are still pending. I’m due to submit another two weeks of certifications this Sunday that will make six weeks of payments I’m waiting for. This has been so frustrating I feel like we have no where to turn, so I was so glad that your news is bringing this situation back regarding unemployment. It seems since the acting director took over everything has come to a halt. I was receiving regular unemployment benefits.
