Honestly this is the greatest anime of all time in my book. Yes, it’s pretentious and extremely controversial, but it’s Anno’s masterpiece and reflects the human condition better than any other work of art I’ve ever experienced. If you have an open mind and are prepared to have your mind twisted in and out again, please please please watch Neon Genesis Evangelion. It is the best, I promise you that.
