Just finished watching all threr series for the second time. I must admit it took a little time for Ashes to Ashes to really get going but once it did it was brilliant. One of its great strengths in my view is not only the great characters, all brilliantly acted of course, but the interaction between the characters and the way the they all developed. I thought the final episode was absolutely out of this world- simply brilliant. And despite all his mysogeny and obsessive mach man nonsense Gene Hunt turned out to be a really secent bloke. I remember reading of a psiible third series, but Ibam glad they stopped at two, they stopped at the very top

A bit of a curate's egg of a film. Good in parts and quite boring in others. I found the Josephine scenes quite tedious and also think Ridley Scott tried to cover too much in one film. I did enjoy the battle scenes although the squares were not that realistic.

I think Huset is a really excellent series. Great storylines, top acting, very gritty and realistic. The fact that it was filmed in a real prison only adds to the atmosphere. Danmarksradio have made a number of terrific series and this is another one.

I missed Happy Valley when it was first shown but a friend advised me to try it and I am very glad I did. It is simply a topnotch series, gripping from start to finish. Every aspect of it had me hooked and Sarah Lancashire is absolutely outstanding. I am just so glad I took my friend's advice.

This is a gripping series from start to finish. The storyline is realistic and the characters are good. My suspicion as to who stole the baby was correct but I won't spoil it for those who haven't seen the series to the end yet. Very well worth watching.

This is a fascinating film that absolutely captured Elvis' life and the way Parker manipulated and defrauded him. It held my attention throughout and the portrayal of Elvis was spot on. Highly recommended.

Very watchable series a Mille Dinesen is ideal in the lead role.

This is an absolutely gripping film from start to finish. It gives what appears to be a very realistic and horrifying glimpse of the early days of the Troubles in Northern Ireland. For anyone who likes films that are character-led and show how people are affected by and deal with the circumstances in which they find themselves, this film is a must.

I think it is a fascinating series. The storylines are always very good and realistic. The characters are believable and interesting although not necessarily likeable! The relationships between the characters also help to make the programme fascinating. All in all, a topnotch programme.

I thought the opening episode showed promise but it just deteriorated into an orgy of extreme violence with very little actual story. Absolutely everyone was armed to the teeth and had no compunction at killing anyone. One of several odd things in the series was when a large heavily armed group of so-called Danish special forces turned up from noehere to start a shooting war. The special effects weregood but I won't watvh series two if there is one
