Johnny Hill

I love the Beatles (their music, wit and personalities!), so was cautious about watching this film. It's not bad, but not brilliant, either, in my view. It tries too hard to go for the heartstrings. Their great songs were given the near-karaoke treatment, with no induction for any millenials who they were. Curtis could have eased up on the Yank-British gags (unfunny), the Beatles WERE British! And I'm not sure about the Lennon scene. It's harmless fun.
