I did finish the book primarily because I read in hope that ‘the next chapter’ would be when the story would come to life. But it didn’t and by the time I arrived at the ‘steps’ I just wanted it to be over. I’ve clearly missed something!

This was really poor! After all the advertising, I was really hopeful and was thoroughly looking forward to watching episode one which turned out to be a huge disappointment! The acting was first class but from the outset, you could see that the screenplay was shocking and the translation to film even more so, I really felt for the actors!
