You’re going to see a ton of reviews for this show either giving it a perfect score or denouncing it as a complete fail. If you’re like me and you’ve played the games or read the books or know the lore you’re gonna love it! Entertainment Weekly actually posted a review by two people who knew nothing about The Witcher, only watched the first two episodes then gave it an F. They deserve to be thrown to the ghouls, everyone who actually knows The Witcher can’t get enough. It just goes to show you how biased and dumb people are, comparing this to Game of Thrones or Lord of the Rings or The Magicians and dismissing it immediately. The Witcher has SO MUCH original backstory, lore, secrets, magic, monsters, action, etc and reviewers are mad and confused because it’s not exactly like their other favorite fantasy show. You might have to look a few things up and actually watch the whole season if you’re a newcomer to The Witcher series but it’s worth it, lets give Geralt a chance.
