Enjoyed this WWI flying by the seat of your pants movie very much. Great aerial scenes of "Knights of the Air." Excellent cast, and romantic side plot of American boy and a French girl,who knew no English. A+

Classic film noir with a classic and perfect cast. Atmosphere is dark, rainy, shadowy or decadent at every scene. Even the selection of automobiles from that period were picked for their classic distinctiveness. The female cab driver is sassy and cute. The musical score is thrilling at every turn. Bogart and Bacall perfectly matched in feisty delivered repartee. One for the Ages. A+++

First saw this movie in 64 with my wife at the theater. We both loved the story/plot by H. G. Wells, the gorgeous color photography,superb sets, great cast and acting, and the fantastic Ray Harryhausen stop motion animation. I have a copy now on dvd and it is still as great as ever. Highly recommended for science fiction fans of Victorian Era classic Wells and faithful motion picture recreation.
