Some memorable images and many forgettable ones. Probably read better as a script and storyboard. Poor attempts at comedy. Likeable in heart and lots of shots/setup add to fun. But frequently lame. Given the story premise of having think of unexpected things to switch universe the results lack imagination and are ofrten 1repetitive. Especially poor bad pop video 'white room' scenes. Parts look like and would have been a good 1970s TV Sci fi episode plot but expansion seems unnecessary. Disappointing but not expensively made, I hear, so good value at least, I guess. Would suit people who find multiverse stuff inherently interesting and will forgive the rest, though the concept is mostly explored in an ascientific, situational comedy way without being great comedy.

Relies for its impetus on a scene where a child is terrorised and slowly tortured to death for maximum suffering. I'm not sure that taking tips from the likes of Rose and Fred West and setting them in the genre of fantasy horror is a great way to go as the intention to highlight real life cruelty and darkness looks thoughtlessly ugly amid the trivial 70s style horror complete with silly glowy eyes. I missed Shelly Duvall. There were a few clever twists on The Shining but mostly the references felt clunky, with a made-for-TV look at various points. Dem villains gets their comeuppance, but I left feeling both bored and a bit soiled. If you're going to exploit child abuse you need more than 'I ain't afraid of no ghosts' as your punchline.
