I will admit it was so much better than Man of Medan. I was invested and on the edge of my seat, and i even got a little scared! (also may have lost a night of sleep just to watch some play through) I was totally digging the whole timeline loop thing, and the demons were super cool, and I just couldn't wait to find out what was next. So I would like to give this a five star review, but.... The ending. It absolutely ruined everything. In the end, we find out that everything that happened was just some twisted hallucination from a mentally ill amnesiac and that's.... A huge cop out. I get that it's kind of the "theme" of the dark pictures, but after the amazing game that was Until Dawn, "hrr hrr spooky things aren't real!" feels so incredibly cheap.
