I've played almost every yakuza/like a dragon game thats ever came out. From 0-6 the judgement series. Even ishin. Like a dragon gaiden takes everything thats good about those games and runs with them. The game is great. They put alot of time and effort into making this and you can feel it. The game is like a loving kiss from the dev team with all of the cool references from the old games done in a tasteful fun way, only the yakuza dev team could pull off. Im incredibly happy with this title and i highly recommend this game if you liked any of the others. 9.0/ 10

It was alright. The game was beautiful. Best graphics ive ever seen. The game play mechanics were Pretty good. The attention to detail was mind boggling. The developers did a fantastic job. However, The story wasn't very good and the characters were treated poorly. Very sad gloomy game that ends leaving a bad taste in your mouth. If you manage to trudge through to the end you'll need a palete cleanser. Id give it a 6.8. Ignore the 5 and 1 star reviews. As well as any paid off review websites like ign. They aren't accurate

Note that I did platinum this game just to get some sort of dopamine boost. I wasn't able to enjoy this game for more than a few hours before realizeing how absolutely slow and grindey it is. They fluffed up a 12 hour game to 40+ The game was a huge disappointment. 99% of the missions were cut and paste. The fighting was pretty good though. Slight imbalances, but more than manageable. Other players characters are no help at all. You'll be late game fighting enemies scaled level 80 and you'll get a level 2 as backup. Not to mention when the heros arrive and do that dash attack they never hit. I grinded a mission 200+ times (to get from level 65-99) and the Ai was so abysmal the hero hit the enemy 0 times out of 200+. Im not exaggerating. 0 times. The majority of the game felt grindy. But the special missions and "friendship" missions were enjoyable. Giving better characterization to the characters. There are about 10 different enemies and about 7 lines that they say. Like 5 victory lines. The dynamic events were interesting but often times decide a battle. You could be winning and suddenly a drone drops a +50% health on your enemy and then the drone dive bombs into you slamming you to the ground and then leaving you open to a flurry of attacks. You could be losing but still have some chance of winning and then suddenly you get bombarded by meteors and then hit by a drone( which lovingly dropped off a +10 attack directly on top of your opponent. None of this is helped by the fact that we already know exactly what is going to happen in the story because it doesn't deviate from the story of season 1. If the entire game was the same quality as the opening title screen animation this game would have knocked it out of the park. There were some funny moments but i wouldn't recommend the game One punch man: a Hero nobody knows I give it 5/10. But since its out of 5 i give it a 2. This game doesn't deserve a 60 I've played worse Ill probably return to the game and see if they really are going to give updates

Amazing game, great story, good graphics, interesting characters, decent fight mechanics, intense fight scenes. Tons of fun and whacky things to experience in the bustling city of kamurocho. The detective game mechanics mesh well with the yakuza games style. It was a really interesting addition to the yakuza series making it a great stand alone title. Wrapped up all the loose ends in the end. Hopefully it doesn't stay a stand alone, with kiryu out of the picture and all of the character development, takumi makes a great character to keep this beloved franchise around. Id give it a 4.1. I have played all of the games in the yakuza series and this one is in my top 3 favorite but some of the previous games had more agile combat. Often times. takumi will hesitate dodging out of the way making me less inclined to use this vital part of yakuza combat. On a side note the wall jump was a pretty cool addition to combat. It was still an amazing game all things considered, but i had to dock almost a full point because of that. all and all i would definitely recommend this game for people who have played yakuza before. For those that haven't, its not a bad place to dive in for the first time.
