I'm rating this higher than I probably would've to counteract the bad reviews lol but also because this movie is just silly fun... it reminded me of the rom com era of the 2000s... typical plot, characters aren't complex but still a fun ride. I've never seen Shailene Woodley play such a carefree role, thought she was charming throughout. And the lead who plays Charles is pretty dreamy which doesn't hurt. Cute, lighthearted movie that didn't take itself too seriously which is exactly what I needed in the moment. Not every film has to be some Avant Garde work of art to be appreciated and enjoyed.

Loved it. No woke garbage, just entertainment and a+ acting. Looking forward to season 2.

SPOILER ALERT. This show is one of my top 10 favorites of all time. It has everything... sex, romance, period dramatics, violence & best of all, a wonderfully self-aware, raunchy sense of humor. My only complaint is that Jessica Findlay Brown left for a show that turned out to be a flop when she could've stayed for another season (or more) and really made this show one of the best series of all time. I fear the depressing storyline of season 3 due to Charlotte's untimely departure (who let's be completely frank, was the star of the show) is what prevented it from becoming not only a critical success but a hit with a massive following as well. I will forever treasure it but wish more people knew about it also.

Love everything about this show, from its murder mystery premise to its perfectly cast trio of protagonist besties (I’m a sucker for unlikely friendships.) Selena is delightfully apathetic with healthy doses of sincere warmth to keep you rooting for her, and Steve & Martin are shining examples that great acting and comedic timing have no expiration. Excellent performance from Amy Ryan as well.

I rarely disagree with Rotten Tomatoes "critic consensuses" (and yes, consensuses is the plural form of consensus... I google'd it) but I was honestly surprised they only gave Anchorman 66%. It's one of the most incredible comedies of our generation, and deserves better. F*#% you Rotten Tomatoes! Yeah I said it.
