I don't get why this game gets such a bad rep. The gameplay is amazing; buttery smooth animations, quick and fast-paced shooting, it really does deliver on the having fun aspect of video games. The story and overall plot are what you'd expect out of a game that got released during a period where games similar to this genre were flooding the market, but hey, if you're like me and you just want 5-10 hours of a fun and fast-paced gaming experience, this game is definitely for you. However, I do recommend waiting for a Steam Sale for Vanquish, since $24.99 is a bit too pricey for what it's offering.
