Corrie meets Narcos. An ecclectic mix of fantastic ideas and really dodgy accents. Wooden acting from Lawrence Fox trying to be northern but failing. Maybe deliberately for comic effect. Rather strange plot that goes off in all directions. I would have abandoned it without Nuno Lopes as Boxer. He flat out steals the show and any woman who watches him. He kept me hanging on. The script is brilliant at times, farcical at others. I realised way into the series that it was a comedy as well as a drama with a wonderful romance driving things on. I have never enjoyed something so bad this much. It’s literally fantastic. Like a tongue in cheek parody which actually grips you.
