I started in a new country on my own with 3 young children having been in Alex's situation with her husband. Its hard and I worked hard to make ends meet. No regrets. This show is well done.

Stumbled on this show in the middle of the night when I couldn't sleep! Best show ever! I am hooked. I love Sam's character and the girls' characters also. Every story line is both funny and gritty. Cilia Imrie as Sam's mom is totally brilliant.
