Mara and Jake's love had absolutely no depth. It was so superficial. I was glad when Mara and Jake broke up because they don't deserve each other.. It was so forced and pretensive. If this was real life they would be divorced in 2 years tops.
This movie promotes divorce.

I loved the cast, the fashion, especially of Angela Bassett. I lliked the story of Angela Bassett's character and her son. I must add that LOVED in the end Angela Bassett character's son ended up with the mature gorgeous dark skin woman.. that made the movie for me. Representation!
