Awful book. Hardly even scripted and reads like the author is just reeling off anything they can think to talk about. Want to learn about sulla and the social wars? You'll have to sift through and look for a paragraph on page 217, a sentence on 219 and the go to pages 241 and 231. Theres absolutely no structure to this book... One minute you'll be reading about the cataline conspiracy and the next it'll go on about how to date roman coins... Also glosses over alot of information that I feel like should be added and linked to the topic. Alot of stuff is missing and the book feels very brief. A large puddle that isn't very deep is a good summary... Oh and the puddle is also about 150 puddles with a few small runs of water between them.
