It gave me real insights of exodus. Sadia and Adil Khan acted maturely and are uncomparable to any stars in bollywood till now. They acted as per the role demand and we can see the entire beautiful Kashmiri Culture in the movie also the set locations were great. Respected Sir Vidhu Vinod Chopra films have a timelessness about them. They are beautifully shot, flow at their own pace and try to tell genuine stories. Shikara is a wonderful movie capturing the beauty & darkness of Kashmir simultaneously. He has gone back to Kashmir with this one and talks about the plight of thousands of refugees because of the rise in militancy in Kashmir. There’s no blame-game here. It’s basically a dirge about Kashmiriyat. A lament about a way of life lost forever. Leaving aside the larger issues, it’s also an old-fashioned romance between a married couple which is alive through years of hardship and doesn’t get brittle with age. It breaks your heart but also soothes it. The pain of the Kashmiri pundits, the beautiful bond between Hindus and Muslims in the valley, the scenery, the poems, the songs, the acting, everything is on point. Kudos to the director and the actors who did a phenomenal job. Great great acting by both Sadia and Adil. This movie is pure art. Made me feel so many emotions all together. I will watch it again also i recommend everyone to watch this movie 🙏😊
