A worthy sequel - whilst not the classic the original is, it entertains and amuses, and new character Madison is fantastic given she's so one-dimensional! Make sure to stay for the post credit scene - Murray-tastic.

Superb. Cinema as it should be. And a masterstroke having Arthur as an unreliable narrator - gives it a clever get-out clause should they ever decide to bring this iteration of the Joker into the more comic-book movie parts of the DC universe (which would probably be a mistake!).

By the numbers, standard action flick sequel. Disappointing in that it adds nothing new. Although a much better crafted film than Genisys, at least that entry tried something new despite its flaws. This is basically T2 redux, and although it's far from a terrible movie, the whole thing just feels a bit "meh". Plus too much CGI definitely takes away from the awe of the stunts that T2 provides. Shame, I had high hopes from the trailers. Time to let the franchise die.

Terrible - all involved should be ashamed! Given the budget you'd at least expect the set-pieces to evoke some excitement, but no. Poor plot and pretty poor performances all round, at least Richard E Grant has the decency to look embarrassed by the whole thing... A real shame, the trailer looked like a fun Christmas frolick.
