Alexander Platypus

While admittedly not a perfect TV show, and it does stray from its inspiring anime in certain ways.... It was very creative, and has some pretty fascinating end twists in store, and overall if you're familiar with the anime you will notice some cool stuff that got changed. Obviously not up for everyone's liking, tastes differ, but I for one am super curious about how season 2 would have gone and wish we could have it.

One of the best comic book shows ever made. Really introduces aspects of moral ambiguity and philosophical nuance along with the typical "powered action". "A thinking person's superhero show" is a good way to describe it, although it's a lot easier to get into than Legion, which also fits that. The only downsides are sometimes there feels like it's not quite enough action, and if you require the absolute most famous characters from the X-Men to be present, you will be disappointed. But if you are fine with "relatives of the X-Men" and if you can cope with a more drama-based narrative, then this will be right up your alley for sure.
