I'm a classic horror movie fan so going into the remake I knew I would be disappointed because Tim Curry is the only Pennywise I acknowledge. Chapter 2 was a let down for me for many reasons. To me, it wasnt scary, and that's coming from someone who always screams at the jump scenes. In fact, I found it pretty funny because there was a lot of comic relief. Even the scenes that were meant to be scary had everyone in the theater lughing because the characters were so silly and ridiculous looking. The intro scene contains a hate crime against a gay couple which I found very uncomfortable and unnecessary. I liked the idea behind the ending but not the way they executed it. Again it seemed very silly and ridiculous and not at all scary. It was supposed to be a horror movie not a comedy so I was disappointed by that. There were a few other things I had issues with but wont mention because spoilers.
