This show feels like what a twitter user's fan-fiction of national treasure would actually be like. It's trying very hard to stay hip with its lingo, all the while abandoning character depth and plot elements. It's not only predictable, but every single character is obnoxious and stupid, especially the male ones. It never fails to amaze me how idiotic it is. If you want to watch a TV show that tackles diversity, race, and morality, watch The Orville. If you want a treasure hunting adventure, watch the original movies. If you want to cringe - watch this.

Oddly paced, extremely predictable, awkward and downright dumb dialogue, idiotic plot and unlikable cast. This could have been a forgettable hour and a half movie, but instead it's 4 times as long and as forgettable.

While at first, I questioned some of the plot points in the movie, I feel like this is an underrated cinematic experience. Sure, it's hard to step in Harrison Ford's boots, but I feel like the movie is interesting enough and creates a unique Star Wars atmosphere to be worth a watch. Glover is phenomenal, and the rest of the cast isn't too bad either, which leaves enough for a sequel, which I still hope will happen, even as a TV series.
