The film is well shot. That’s about it. Will Smith is nowhere near a decent substitute for Robin Williams as the Genie. The rest of the cast is bland and awkward, Rajah and Abu are better actors. And they changed the original music just enough to make it suck. Auto tune? Really? Disney usually has the golden touch when it comes to live action remakes, this one falls far from the mark. It’s not their fault really, Robin Williams was the best part of this movie, and without him it is bland and disappointing.
