This is an amazing game with heartbreaking moments throughout. I would recommend this game to everyone, especially those who played the first game. Sadly, the ratings from the players do not match the game since many people give low rating just because things did not go their way. The attachment to character in the first game is one reason. People fail to realize that this game is a perfect representation of the aftermath of the first game. This is a small spoiler but the past will catch up to you, and it is only a matter of time and Naughty Dog used this quote and put it in to the game perfectly.
