I give the novel a 3 because the novel goes into a deep dive of the life and death of XXXTENTACION but has many random and inexcusable mistakes in the retelling of the events. I've been a fan of X since late 2015/ early 2016 ( before the dyed hair and the many face tats) and in the novel there are many mistakes about points in X's life that is openly documented. For example the novel recounts when X got the iconic 17 face tattoo and it is said he got the while having black and blonde hair. When there are pictures of X well before the parted dyed hair with the face tat. There are clear mistakes like this all over the novel and it just makes me more excited for the documentary that will be released by the X estate. The trailer is on YouTube and I know it isn't the longest but it shows just enough to know that the doc was made my XXXTENTACION himself, so we will be getting the inforamtion from the man himself. All and all the novel gave a new perspective on the scattered infromation we have on his life but I'd take this novel with a grain of salt.
