I love it. A pinch of humor and lovable songs, with incongruity. It is a great ensemble piece. Memorable songs such as: "sweet tooth", "a hatful of dreams", "you've never had chocolate like this" and well known songs "oompa loompa" and "pure imagination". It is a brilliant film, in my opinion, but it is very odd and quirky which are films I generally love, however this might not be for everyone. As others have said if you take it on it's terms you should enjoy it.

A very good film, funny and heartwarming. There is something about Jonathan Roumie (Lonnie) he has an awe about him.

Great Soundtrack, narrative and very silly at times. The songs are very catchy, and it has that Disney feel good factor about it.

It is slow at the start and takes a while to get into but some moments which made me chuckle like the incongrous comic montage. It was worth watching and made me laugh.

A must watch film for Christians. A very good film based on the theme of suffering and Mackenzies view of God, which was similar to mine. I now have a better view of God and it helped me to understand God during my addiction

Funny and touching. Very funny and also heartwarming. Really loved it. You get to see the war from Jojo's perspective.

Really funny, great sense of adventure too. Has elements of around the world in eighty days in it. It has a feel good factor and lots of comedy too. A great film for adults, not sure if children will get all the humour though. It is worth a watch.
