Completed 4 bottles of sanitizers (One for each of my eyes and ears) after watching Adipurush. The concluding verdict in one line would be "Disappointment would be an understatement!" Sub-par and sloppy visual effects (actually they look worse on large-screen and were bearable on phone screen), faulty casting choices (sorry Prabhas Fans), cringe worthy and chhapri brand dialogues with poor screenplay and direction. The director claimed to be a Ram Bhakt and it's clearly mentioned in the beginning of the film that every devotee has rendered 'Ram Katha' in their own way of devotion. This rendition lacks exactly that, devotion towards the Deity and also zero understanding of the source material. I feel sorry for Saif Ali Khan as his character design is comical rather than scary. He walks wobbling like a bodybuilding freak who has over-sized upper body and has after long span of years done some really heavy leg workout. The only positives of the film are the background score and songs. They too sound better sans the visuals which act as a detterant for the music to have it's full impact. Completely Avoidable. And yes, who told them that designing Ravana's 10 heads like 5 x 2 Led Stadium Lights was a good idea?!

There was an idea… To bring together a group of remarkable people… To see if we could become something more… So when they needed us… we could fight the battles… that they never could… It was called ‘The Avengers Initiative’… It was a statement, a promise, that if we could not protect the world… be damn sure we would avenge it… # THE FOLLOWING ARE MY PERSONAL VIEWS AND FEELINGS REGARDING AVENGERS : ENDGAME WHICH I HAVE TRIED TO KEEP AS SPOILER FREE AS POSSIBLE # In 2008, we all embarked on a journey of fantasy and adventure that would redefine the ‘super-hero movie’ genre, build a world of its own over eleven years and 22 films with beloved comic book characters created by Maestros like Stan Lee, and would culminate to provide what we now know as ‘The Infinity Saga’ of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After the devastating snap called ‘Decimation’ that Thanos did in Avengers : Infinity War, half the life in the Universe is turned to dust, the world is in shackles, and our heroes are left defeated and devastated. But as It’s suggest, some people move on… but not them! Thus, the Avengers assemble one last time and are ready to do whatever it takes to make things right and avenge the fallen. Will they succeed? That’s what this movie is about. ‘Avengers : Endgame’ is an epic, marvelous, emotional, and hard yet heart-warming conclusion to The Infinity SAGA. The credit of making this mind blowing film goes to the makers of the film (Directors - Anthony and Joe Russo, Writers - Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, Producer – Kevin Feige, Cinematographer – Trent Opaloch, And Editors – Jeffery Ford and Matthew Schmidt), the Actors (Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Bradley Cooper, Karen Gillan, Bradley Cooper, Dana Gurira, and Brie Larson), And the Music Composer – Alan Sylvestri, Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, and to all the other cast and crew who have been working in the MCU films since 2008. A well written and crisp script, a very well crafted character development, bonds and relations between those characters, the dynamics of their situation and how their character arc culminates in the story makes this a powerful movie which is supported by great graphics, action, and Science Fiction Stuff! There is a well maintained balance between action and emotion. The movie provides an emotional roller-coaster ride which makes you experience different emotions like sadness, happiness, hope, surprise, apprehension, disbelief, shock, humor, and keeps you on the edge. You laugh heartily, applaud with enthusiasm, and also sob in sorrow. It’s also contemplative and shall provide you with nostalgic moments. Finally when the move ends, what you get is a satisfying, and poetic conclusion to the journey which began 11 years ago. Thank You Marvel Studios.

The movie was fun. Though it's far from being the best MCU movie. Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel had been promoted as the most powerfull super hero, and indeed the movie reveals her to be very powerfull. The supporting cast especially Sam Jackson's Nick Fury has done a great job. The visuals were great, humor was well placed, and twists were good too. Overall its was an entertaining and fun movie. One issue which I found with the movie was that the character of Captain Marvel didn't get a challenging opponent through which she could grow. She just seemed to be too powerfull to defeat and in all her glory took down her enemies. This does make you appreciate the strength of our Super Hero, but fails to make you emotionally ground for her as her high levels super power makes her victory too obvious. Now coming to her role in Avengers Endgame, I really hope that Marvel doesn't endup making the same mistake DC did in Justice League, where our superheroes struggled hard to beat the villain without much success until Superman showed up and with ease, defeated the bad guys. That act just made the presence and struggle for all the others super heroes feel unnecessary making it a one man show. Avengers Endgame is the culmination of a journey which began 11 years ago with Iron Man movie. Since then, we watched our beloved heroes develop and grow and established an emotional connect with them. Their failure and loss in Avengers Infinity war makes it all the more important that they hold the privilege and the right to set things back to order and avenge the terrible massacre. Though Captain Marvel is extremely powerful, she should act as a surplus for the surviving heroes in their battle against Thanos, and not the star of the show who just comes and takes down the mighty Thanos just to earn the title of being most powerfull. It should not become her movie, she can be the a very powerful supporting character, but not the key to defeat Thanos. My rating for Captain Marvel is 3.5 it of 5 stars. And for me, the show stealer is Goose The Cat!

Well, I personally enjoyed the movie. It was a fresh take on the original story. Before people see this movie, they should keep in mind that it is adapted from the original book by Rudyard Kipling. The 2016 Film was a remake of the 1967 Disney animated film The Jungle Book which was adapted for children and diverted from the original plot of the book. The characters, especially Baloo, were also not in line with the book. In the book, Baloo isn't a Happy Go Lucky dancing and singing Bear; He is the Mentor of the pack of wolves Mowgli is adopted into. He is caring and loving, but his approach is of a strict and disciplinary Drill Sargent. The animals singing and dancing in jungle weren't in the book and King Louise was completely Disney's own creation. So, if you are going to watch this movie keeping in mind the Disney filtered version or the Japanese Qnime version, you might not find what you expect. Individually, this movie is a dark and gritty take on the book. It explores the Man vs. Nature Conflict, the journey of self exploration and finding a sence of belonging, and also facing ones fears. While the CGI was better in Disney's version, the storytelling and nuances are finer in this. It's not a joyful funride, but rather an adventure in the dark and dangerous premise. I recommend it for adults. As far as children are concerned, it might be a bit more dark and frightening for them, so, be cautious. Overall a well done and satisfying job by Andy Serkis and Team.
