Chandrabhan Kakoty

The movie Laal Singh Chaddha felt unnecessarily long. Chaitanya Akkineni made an impact. So did Manav Vij. But, really tired of same acting by Aamir Khan and Kareena's portions were forgettable. Story was cliched, predictable and in the end, went nowhere. My mother who has never watched Forrest Gump also found it boring, lengthy and without a coherent story. Feeling super-generous. Hence 3-stars.

Fan service at its finest. It's for the fans who willed it into existence and the result is a much much improved product than the massacre that was Josstice League. It's a bit too long and suffers from pacing issues and editing could have been crisp. But hey, I ain't complaining. Each frame is aesthetically crafted to the point that the Director lingers on a tad bit too much on certain scenes so the audience can admire the cinematography. The music and background score is top notch and adds a distinct tonality to the movie. 4 hours felt like 2.5 hrs. I enjoyed thoroughly. Though only criticism is that the Nightmare sequences could have been entirely discarded as nothing's going to materialize out of that thread. Unless..........
