This version is cinematicly great and intriguing, if not pointent. There are somethings I like about this movie, it's very realistic looking in it's beauty and dialogue, and maybe in the way they portrayed Noah's character maybe realistic, cause of what he believed Gods plan was for him. Also I liked the acting performances , I thought they all were very good, but the there are a lot of things I didn't like about this movie. First of all the way they made the flood, cause it doesn't say anything in the Bible about the water coming up from the ground, but most importantly about those stone like transformers who helped build the ark and defend them against the people who wanted to kill them. I mean stone figures coming to life! Where in the Bible does it say anything like that, it's pretty ridiculous.

Good movie, but total ripoff of the rv show Sons of Anarchy.

Dark, dull, boring. That's how I would describe this over bloated movie. It's way too long, and I found myself having trouble keeping my eyes open.

I thought this movie was very compelling and pretty close to the actual story from the Bible. It was very well acted, and interesting and told the story of Abraham and his son Isaac, and what Abraham was supposed to do for the Lord.

Im a huge fan of the series, going all the way back to the original, which set the standard for all slasher/horror movies to come. What I really loved about the original is that it is scary and suspenseful at the same time, without being gory. Now I don't have a problem with gore, but sometimes movies put in the gore for effect, and gory and bloody don't always mean scary. I really loved the first one of the series, because it does just that, scary and suspenseful, without being over the top in blood and guts. This movie was not scary or suspenseful in any way, and was even campy and comediac at times, and thats not what I want in a horror movie. This movie does live up to its name though for sure and Im really hopeful that the final movie in the series gets back to the drama and and fear of its predecessor and originallity of the first film.
